Disney's lawsuit against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is being tossed out by a federal judge. The entertainment giant had sued DeSantis and the secretary of Florida's Commerce Department, alleging retaliation for the company publicly speaking out against the state's Parental Rights in Education law.
The judge ruled that Disney lacked legal standing to sue the governor and the company's claims fail on merit. Disney says it plans to "press forward" with the case.
A Disney spokesperson said, "This is an important case with serious implications for the rule of law, and it will not end here."
