South Floridians Show Support for the People of Israel and Gaza

(Miami, Fla) - South Floridians are showing support for the people of Israel and Gaza as the war wages on.

A cargo plane loaded with 220-thousand pounds of urgent necessities will depart from Miami bound for Israel today.

Jeff Levin with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation says thousands of displaced families along Israel's southern border are waiting for these urgent necessities.

The federation chartered the flight which will carry 220-thousand pounds of medical and consumer goods, clothing and construction materials.

Meanwhile, tomorrow a march organized by South Florida Coalition for Palestine will begin at 3 PM from Lummus Park to support of the Palestinian people of Gaza.

The march is to protest Miami-Dade county's $76-million taxpayer investment in Israeli bonds.
