South Florida immigration activists are calling for the closure of immigration detention centers in Florida and across the U-S. Attorney Andrea Jacoski says there are three ICE facilities in Florida that should be shut down-- the Broward Transitional Center, the Krome Service Processing Center and the Baker County Jail. This National Day of Action comes days after a federal judge rules deportation protections granted to undocumented immigrants brought to the U-S as children are unlawful. The Supreme Court is expected to have the ultimate ruling on DACA.
