Five Survivors Rescued After Small Plane Crash near Andros Island

Andros Island - The United States Coast Guard and the Bahamian Defence Force rescued five survivors after a small plane crashed near Andros Island in the Bahamas on Monday.

In a harrowing incident near Andros Island in the Bahamas, a small plane crashed, prompting a joint operation by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and the Royal Bahamian Defence Force to rescue the five individuals onboard.

The USCG reported that the survivors were located perched on the wings of the aircraft, which had come to rest in shallow waters.

The Royal Bahamian Defence Force, with the aid of a bystander, swiftly arrived at the scene and successfully saved all passengers.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash and subsequent rescue, as confirmed by the Coast Guard.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of Monday's crash.
