WATCH: Miami-Dade Judge Sentencing Mexican Telenovela Star For Manslaughter

A Miami-Dade judge sentencing Pablo Lyle who was convicted late last year of manslaughter following a road rage incident in 2019.

Miami-Dade Judge Marisa Tinkler-Mendez sentencing Mexican Telenovela actor Pablo Lyle to 5 years in prison followed by 8 years probation. A jury didn't buy his claims that he delivered a deadly punch to a 63-year-old man in self-defense during a road rage incident back in 2019. The judge also ordering 500 hours community service.

Lyle's brother-in-law, Lucas Delfino, who was driving the car at the time, admits he cut off the victim and felt fate had them cross paths that day.

Lyle addressed the victim's family to apologize, saying he truly thought he was protecting his family that day when he reacted by punching the victim who came after them first.

Lyle says what happened haunts him every day, and when he wakes up in the morning, he's thinks about it.

He had faced up to 15-years behind bars.

He hopes the judge's sentence gives the victim's family closure.
