A federal judge in Tallahassee has scheduled a trial date of November 29 for suspended Hillsborough State Attorney Andrew Warren's lawsuit against Gov. DeSantis.
The judge has said this is a First Amendment case--with the trial to determine if the governor violated Warren's free speech rights by suspending him after statements in support of abortion and transgender health care.
The judge has said he wants the governor to explain what he did and why.
