A former Florida prosecutor was arrested after approaching two officers and offering them money for sex during an undercover prostitution sting.

According to police, former Miami-Dade County prosecutor David Benjamin approached two undercover officers and agreed to pay $30 for a sex act at a nearby motel during a prostitution sting involving officers from the Miami and Coral Gables police departments.

Officers arrested Benjamin, 41, shortly before midnight on January 20th after he approached the officers near 44th Avenue and Eighth Street.
