Miami Beach police confirm rapper DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, has been released after detectives questioned him about a shooting last night on South Beach.
Two suspects are now in custody.

South Florida is in the national spotlight for all the wrong reasons after a series of mass shootings this holiday weekend alone.
Last night two people were hurt after a shooting on South Beach near 1st Street and Ocean Drive.
Miami Beach police detectives say one person remains in critical condition, while the other was treated and released from the hospital.
Of the many people being interviewed about the shooting is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk. He's also known as rapper DaBaby.
This follows two people being killed and about two dozen others being hurt in a shooting early Sunday after a concert in Northwest Miami-Dade.
Miami-Dade Police Director Freddie Ramirez says they have recovered the SUV the suspects were hunting the victims in and have received multiple tips. "Those are three killers, and we need to get them off the street, and we're going to get them off the streets; and anyone that's associated with them, is involved in this activity is going to go to jail as well."
He goes on to say as detectives investigate this rash of weekend violence, they're dealing with social media, "where they're able to call each other out, and some of their rap songs that they do, they have little cues that call each other out, and it builds up, and the retaliation comes, and it comes strategically like this, swift and fast."
Miami police are also investigating two mass shootings in Wynwood and another shooting where several people were hurt after a possible robbery attempt in Midtown.
Miami Police Chief Art Acevedo says they're turning to Miami-Dade Police, the FBI, and ATF for help and he's "confident that in time we'll be able to bring these people to justice."
