Miami Beach Extends State of Emergency This Weekend

Miami Beach extends its State of Emergency through the weekend, meaning the 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew goes into effect tonight through Sunday along Ocean Drive. Mayor Dan Gelber has come up with a 12-point point to change the area around. It includes setting up a crime center, mandating last call at 2-am and creating decals so residents are not affected by road bridge closures. The MacArthur, Julia Tuttle and Venetian Causeways will be shutdown at 10 tonight through Sunday.
