11th U-S Circuit Court of Appeals Hears Arguments In Epstein Lawsuit

Attorneys for the federal government and a victim of Jeffrey Epstein argued before the 11th U-S Circuit Court of Appeals in a lawsuit filed by the victim. Courtney Wild is challenging a secret 2008 agreement between the feds and Epstein's attorneys allowing him to plead guilty to two state prostitution charges in Florida while receiving immunity from federal prosecution. Her attorney Paul Cassell says if the law didn't extend pre-charging than the Bill of Rights could be circumvented in court. The U-S Attorney says the Crime Victim Right's Act doesn't attach until the government has filed charges against a defendant. Epstein died of an apparent suicide while awaiting sex trafficking charges in Manhattan.
