County Extends Its Mask Mandate For Another 30 Days

Palm Beach County has extended its mask mandate by another thirty days.

County Administrator Verdenia Baker has determined it's necessary and appropriate to keep wearing facial coverings in public spaces indoors and outdoors where social distancing is not possible.

The initial order took effect at the end of June and spawned several lawsuits. A Palm Beach County judge denied a request to strike down the mandate, ruling it Constitutional.

The order now stays in place at least through October 22.
