Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are trying to identify a suspect they say shot a man on land from a personal water craft. Police say the July 11th incident in the 1400 block of Old Griffin Road in Dania Beach left the victim suffering from a gunshot wound, although he refused medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a 25-30 year old Hispanic man with short black hair, operating a blue watercraft. Surveillance video caught the incident.
There was some sort of altercation before the shooting which grazed the victim's leg. Anyone with information is being asked to call Crimestoppers at 954-493-TIPS or browardcrimestoppers.org.
