Man Threatens To Shoot Up Juno Beach Pier In Social Media Message

Popular Smart Phone Apps Of 2016

A North Palm Beach man is accused of threatening to shoot up the Juno Beach Pier.

18-year old Cory Clemens was arrested this week for posting the threat on the Snapchat app.

It was made in the wake of an argument with staff at the pier last week, when Clemens and others who were fishing were asked to leave at closing time. Police say Clemens was banned from the pier for his threatening behavior and in the next few days, they received screenshots of Clemens post.

While police don't believe the man was planning to carry out his threat, they say they will always investigate such a post and urge the community to continue reporting threats.

Clemens is out on bond on a charge of sending an electronic written threat to conduct a mass shooting.
