BRADENTON -- Manatee deputies have arrested a 20-year-old man for the murder of a vape shop clerk... that happened as the victim's brother watched on a surveillance camera.

Thursday morning, deputies announced the arrest of Amado Zeppi. They say evidence placed Zeppi at the scene of the Green Galaxy Smoke and Vape Shop in the 3200 block of 1st Street West in Bradenton. Detectives believe he's the shooter.

Zeppi is charged with second-degree murder.

Video showed at least two gunmen. Detectives say they've recovered both weapons. They're still looking for two other suspects.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A man watched his brother in mortal danger and was powerless to stop it. Manatee deputies are working to find the killers.

The sheriff's office says Mohammed Hamed, 23, was working late at the Green Galaxy Smoke Shop in the 3200 block of 1st Street West in Bradenton, when two men pointed guns at him, around 11 Tuesday night. Hamed's brother was watching the scene from his home in Tampa on surveillance video. He called law enforcement, telling them Mohammed was on the ground.

Deputies found him dead in the back room. They're not saying how he died as this is still an open investigation.

Spokesman Randy Warren says detectives believe there was a customer in the store at the time of the holdup. No customers were around by the time they arrived Tuesday evening.
