RECALL: Biltmore Sockeye Smoked Salmon, Possible Listeria

Seven Seas International USA is issuing a recall of its four-ounce Biltmore Smoked Sockeye Salmon.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says the recall is due to possible Listeria contamination, which is known to cause serious, potentially deadly infections.

The company says Publix grocery stores in Florida are the only place the product was sold.

Anyone who may have bought the salmon is being advised to check the packages for a production code of 4-1-C-M and a sell by date of May 23rd, 2019.

Customers who have bought this product are being advised not to eat it, and the FDA says it can be returned for a full refund.
