American boots were on the ground in Iran last week and it’s a good thing. An Air Force airman was behind enemy lines after his plane was shot down by Iranian forces. He was alone in hostile territory and the clock was ticking. Today he’s safe and sound, no longer in Iran. So much for the “no boots on the ground” argument.
