Titusville City Council Rejects Plans For Development

(Titusville, FL) --Some Brevard County residents can claim victory against a developer. The Titusville City Council yesterday rejected plans to build over 60 townhome units at SR 405 and South Singleton Ave. Neighbors opposed the project over concerns it would cause flooding and harm wetlands. One man tells WESH 2 they know firsthand what 15 inches of rainfall in 18 hours can do.

Orlando City Council Approves Improvements For Camping World Stadium

(Orlando, FL) -- Big changes are coming to Camping World Stadium. The Orlando City Council voted Monday to spend 400-million dollars on renovations. The money will come from the city's tourism tax revenue. The renovations include about 2-thousand more seats and modernized amenities. Work is expected to start by the end of the year and be done by summer 2027. City officials hope the upgrades will attract major events, including NFL games. The Jacksonville Jaguars need a place to play their home games in 2027 when their regular stadium undergoes renovations.  

Antonio Brown Pleads Not Guilty To Attempted Murder

(Miami, FL) -- Antonio Brown plans to fight the charges he's facing for a shooting in Miami-Dade County. The former NFL wide receiver arrived in Miami yesterday and was placed in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. He's due in court today, and his lawyer says Brown is pleading not guilty to attempted murder. The charge dates back to May when Brown shot a man during a fight. Brown's lawyer claims it was self-defense.  

Deputies Nab Woman After High-Speed Pizza Run

(Palm Harbor, FL) -- A Florida woman is facing charges after deputies allegedly clocked her speeding at 107 miles per hour in a 55 zone on her way to get pizza. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says Yazmin Erazo was racing north on U.S. 19 when she was stopped Thursday night. She now faces a charge of dangerous excessive speeding and has since bonded out of jail. According to Fox 13, Erazo says she was trying to reach a Little Caesars pizza shop before it closed.
