It’s likely that Burger King’s most successful ad campaign included the “have it your way” jingle. BK is taking a lesson from that after a well intended advertising blunder that was targeting advancing women in their industry. The quippy choice was funny in context. Standing alone it brought enough ire to cause BK to relent and issue the mandatory apology.
Staying on the “International Women’s Day” theme, at least some folks are actually standing for women. President Biden is not one of them. He’s signed another XO creating the Gender Policy Council which won’t protect women at all. Maybe he’s got something in common with Brevard Schools.
On the other side, though, are South Dakota and Mississippi. Both states have passed bills supporting women in sports. Their laws should be the standard for how these issues are handled in our schools.
The federal government and education establishment are no friends of conservatives or right leaning media and a digital media professor at Columbia has joined Democrats in DC wanting conservative leaning media (and therefore you) deplatformed.
Governor Ron DeSantis has dropped the vaccine age to 60 in Florida and the CDC has issued new guidelines for THE RONA as vaccines are more available. The government is having trouble giving up control.
Of course, government likes trying to control things that should never be in its purview. The minimum wage is one; another is gas prices and President Biden and his policies own that one!
