As Brevard Schools considers how to protect our kids in an active shooter situation the debate continues in the community. One writer to Florida Today concisely details the conservative position as Public Engagement Editor Isadora Rangel writes on gun free zones and adds a video by me in the column. The Palm Bay story gets stranger and stranger as former City Attorney Andrew Lannon demanded his latest manifesto be addressed at last night’s council meeting. It leaves us seriously wondering about Lannon’s mental state and future employment in any capacity.
In other government news Brevard’s firefighters have a new contract that‘s been approved (although the union continues its whining) and Representative Randy Fine is asking state auditors to look into the Honor America, John Tice, Melbourne Council fiasco and the city’s CRAs use of funds for prohibited purposes.
