It was a glorious weekend! First, I got a lot done, chore wise.Then it was football from the time I got up Saturday until I went to bed Sunday night. Friends, food and football, there’s not a lot better than that!
Let’s get to the discussion.
DOGE was a great thing as President Trump began his second term. USAID was a victim of the project and, apparently, USAID belonged in a handbasket all along. It’s certainly there as we begin our Monday. Then AI’s going to kill us all, or it’s not. Bernie Snaders wants to kill AI and any company that’s not handling AI the way the government says it wants.
Amendment 3 is getting backing from Florida’s realtors to the tune of $10m. That’s a good thing as the pressure against it from the cities and counties needs opposition. But then our county commission, tax and spenders that they are, voted to proceed busting the tax cap and sticking it to Brevard taxpayers no matter how the Amendment 3 vote goes.
