It’s been twenty-five years since America was attacked in an intricate plan to change our world. It was shocking, frightening and it was sorrowing.It also rekindled in us that was hibernating, the realization that we are all Americans and that there was a fight ahead of us.
From September 2001 until sometime in February 2002 we stayed that way, united. Then, in what I saw as a healthy sign at the time, political debate began to revive. I hoped that was a sign that the country was returning to normal. We could argue that it did the opposite.
