We could all use a good look at ourselves from time to time. Are we on the right track? Are things going as they should, or as we would like? Are we missing something? The same is true of our politicians and political parties. We’ll do some of that today. Plus, our final hour brings the Friday File where you can revisit any topic from this week’s discussion.
Of course, not everybody likes that inward look. Some of us play kill the messenger instead of looking at the message. I had that happen to me yesterday. What’s that telling us? We’ll explore it.
Speaking of such things, the governor and attorney general are trying to dismiss concerns over the Hope Florida scandal. And make no mistake, a scandal it is. James Uthmeier has gone as far as to threaten a reporter for asking questions about it.
Daniel Horowitz has an interesting column in The Blaze taking an inward look at Republicans and primary elections. His point- it’s tough to drain the swamp when we keep electing the same types of politicians to serve in DC.
