Can the WNBA solve America’s worst social ills? While it definitely won’t be intentional, it could be the case. THE WNBA is clearly a societal trainwreck and is in the position of being forced to determine the decade old question of what constitutes being a woman.
Dave and I will spend some quality time on the issue this morning as it crashed heavily on the WNBA since we were last together. While several of the league’s players and coaches have decided speaking on social issues is their main job, a pair of former NBA players have decided they are women and want to join the league. By declaring for the WNBA draft, these men may be the biggest advocates for the women playing in the WNBA.
As for the league itself, it has spoken out and said…absolutely nothing.
We’ll also get a look at Florida’s economic developer of the year and jump into Dave Does History in our final hour.
Dave Bowman’s with us for the day as we get a delayed start to our talk week on BML. Here are links to Dave’s work-
