Arrests Made After Road-Rage Incident In Seminole County

(Sanford, FL) -- Two people are in custody after a road rage incident in Seminole County. Sanford Police say a driver intentionally rear-ended another yesterday on Upsala Road, and that led to a fight between the drivers.The SPD says one driver took items from the other's car and drove away in an SUV that deputies pulled over in Orange County. The sheriff's office says while the driver was surrendering, the passenger got in the driver's seat and drove away. Deputies say the SUV then hit some cars before the passenger bailed in downtown Orlando and ran away. He was caught, and deputies say both suspects will be charged with felonies.

City, HOA Dispute Responsibility For Road Hole

(Palm Bay, FL)-- A city in Brevard County and an HOA are at odds over who's responsible for a hole in the road. The hole formed Wednesday in Palm Bay off Indian River Drive in Palm Bay Estates when heavy rain damaged an underground water drainage pipe. The city says the pipe is on HOA property, and homeowners are responsible for fixing it. The HOA, though, says Palm Bay owns the pipe, and the city is responsible for fixing it.A Palm Bay Estates resident tells Spectrum News 13 all they can do is get people together and sort it all out.

Frustration Grows Over Broken Elevator At Tallahassee International Airport

(Tallahassee, FL)-- There's frustration over a broken elevator at Tallahassee International Airport. The elevator broke over two years ago, and it has been out of service ever since. A crew was working on it yesterday, though, and it might be up and running again in another month. Disability advocate Joanna Southerland says that's good news, but it's long overdue. She tells WCTV she has been to five continents, and she has never seen an international airport without a working elevator, even in China. 

St. Pete City Council Votes To Study Breaking From Duke Energy

(St. Petersburg, FL)-- St. Petersburg is taking a step that could lead to the city forming its own utility. The city council voted yesterday to hire a consultant to study the possibility. It would mean breaking ties with Duke Energy that has been the city's electricity provider for 30 years. The franchise agreement between the city and the company is due to expire in August. The study will cost almost 600-thousand dollars. 

NASA Artemis 3 Astronauts Will Be Wearing Prada

(Cape Canaveral, FL)-- NASA's next lunar mission, Artemis 3, will be launching from Florida's Space Coast and this time, history gets a luxury upgrade. Astronauts stepping onto the moon will wear groundbreaking spacesuits co-designed by Italian fashion giant Prada and engineered for extreme lunar terrain. With that announcement, the countdown to 2027's anticipated launch is now stylishly on.

2013, the British newspaper "The Guardian" reported that the National Security Agency had been collecting phone records of millions of Verizon customers under a secret court order. Former NSA contractor Edward Snowden later revealed himself as the whistleblower who furnished "The Guardian" with the information.

1968, Senator Robert F. Kennedy was shot by an assassin while campaigning for the Democratic U.S. presidential nomination in California. He died the next day. Gunman Sirhan Sirhan was arrested for the attack.
