NASA Unveils Long-Term Moon Plan

(Washington, DC) --NASA is laying out its ambitious plan to build a permanent moon base. It wants to learn more about the lunar surface and eventually launch missions from there further into space. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman announced the first three stages of the moon base missions. They involve unmanned spacecraft delivering payloads to be used for future explorations involving manned crews.  Isaacman says he hopes to launch the missions before the end of 2026.

Job Fair Today For Former Spirit Airlines Employees

(Orlando, FL) --An event in Seminole County today could help former Spirit Airlines employees find a new place to work.CareerSource Central Florida is holding a job fair for those who lost their jobs when the airline shut down.It'll take place from 1:00 to 4:00 in Oviedo at the East Coast Dream Center on West SR 426. Over 20 employers are expected to be there, including Disney and Universal. 

Woman Charged After Hitting Man With Car In Orlando

(Orlando, FL) --Jealousy appears to have played a role in a hit-and-run in Orange County. Winny Exume was arrested yesterday for allegedly hitting a man with her SUV on Pointe Vista Circle and fleeing the scene. The sheriff's office says it looks like Exume was jealous that the man was talking to her girlfriend. No serious injuries were reported. Exume is charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle.

SLC Considered Frontrunner To Score An Expansion Baseball Team

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Salt Lake City is reportedly the frontrunner among western cities to score an expansion MLB team. That's according to USA Today, who says the pair of MLB expansion teams are likely to land in Nashville and Salt Lake City. The expansion teams are set to be awarded by 2029. Sacramento, Portland and Vancouver are among the other cities in the West that are trying to land a team.
