Has the NFL blinked? It sure looks like it. Roger Goodell says the league will comply with Attorney General James Uthmeier’s investigation of the NFL’s hiring and promotions practices. I’m not sure if it’s so much cooperation as it is a defense of their acts and justification for how it’s done now. But, the league is facing a lawsuit from former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores with discrimination as the allegation. We’ll begin our discussion there.
The governor’s pushing property tax relief in Florida. Does he have the influence to get it through? Another special session for the legislature may tell the tale, but the Senate, under weak leadership, has been reluctant to take on the issue.
Rep. Mike Haridopolos joins us in our final hour today. Redistricting and Republican incumbent primary losses could be changing the face of congress. We’ll see what he says about that and more as we close our day.
