Cutoff Culture. We normally hear of it around holidays when family gatherings are prevalent and politics divide families. It applies elsewhere, too.
We’ll begin with the idea of shunning family for politics and then see where else cutting folks off is a default for dealing with differences. Things like news and information we don’t like, providing services to the public at large, gaslighting residents about crime in their communities, killing political opponents and even shutting voters out of elections…here…in Brevard County!
