…25th Anniversary Week: The Boss- Ken Holiday
For two hours this morning, the floor is yours. It’s Wide Open Wednesday and whatever you bring up is the topic of the moment on BML. For me it’s the speech police with a real badge, Boston’s lie about education, Florida’s special elections yesterday and Iran.
For you? Well, that’s entirely up to you.
As anniversary week continues, we look at the return to Brevard from the Modesto days. We’ll visit with a guy who has a pretty tough job. Ken Holiday is my boss. I can be pretty unmanageable. When calls or emails come to the WMMB program director, that’s me. There’s not a lot of satisfaction to be found complaining to me about me. Ken’s next on the list. We have been working together for 22 of the 25 years I’ve been in morning radio. Actually, it’s all 25 since Ken was my voice guy while I was in Modesto. We’ve also joined up for hurricane coverage through the years. It’ll be nice to have him in studio without a storm bearing down on us!
