The Tampa Bay Rays (77-81) defeated the Baltimore Orioles (74-84) 6-2 on Wednesday night to even the three-game series at a game apiece.
Brandon Lowe went 2-for-5 with a RBI double and a solo home run to key the Rays offense - Richie Palacios added three hits of his own. Shane Baz got the start and pitched four innings of no-hit baseball before being pulled - the Rays bullpen did not allow a hit until the seventh inning and kept the Orioles off the scoreboard until the eighth inning.
The Rays will now look to win the penultimate series of the 2025 season when they meet the Orioles in the rubber game of the three-game series on Thursday afternoon. First pitch Thursday is scheduled for 1:05 PM - pregame coverage begins with Ronnie Lane hosting Inside Pitch at high noon on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620, your Home of Rays Baseball.
