The Tampa Bay Rays (20-23) defeated the Toronto Blue Jays (21-22) 8-3 on Thursday afternoon to win the three-game series in Toronto.
Josh Lowe played in his first game since Opening Day, coming off the IL after a stint do to an oblique strain. He made the most of his return, going 3-for-5 with a home run, driving in one run while scoring three times. Brandon Lowe added a two homer day, finishing the game 3-for-5 with four runs batted in and two runs scored.
The Rays now travel to Miami where they will begin a three-game series against the Marlins on Friday night. First pitch Friday is scheduled for 7:10 - pregame coverage begins with Ronnie Lane hosting the Inside Pitch at 6:00 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620, your Home of Rays Baseball.
