During a solo trip to Tokyo, model Natalisi Taksisi made a shocking discovery in her hotel room. Taksisi, who lives in Thailand, noticed a strange smell upon returning to her hotel room from a day of sightseeing. Initially, she thought the odor came from her hair or the bed sheets, but soon realized it was emanating from under the bed.

When she leaned over to investigate, she was horrified to find a man hiding beneath her bed.

"I saw a pair of eyes staring at me," Taksisi recalled in a TikTok video that has since gone viral.

She screamed and jumped to her feet, prompting the man to crawl out, stare at her for a few seconds, and then flee the room.

Hotel staff called the police, but the intruder had already escaped. Authorities found a power bank and a USB cable under the bed, but there was no explanation for how the man gained access to the room, which required a key card. The hotel lacked CCTV cameras, complicating efforts to identify the suspect.

The incident left Taksisi feeling unsafe, prompting her to switch hotels immediately. She requested a refund for her stay, initially receiving only a partial offer from the booking site Agoda. However, after contacting the hotel directly, she was refunded in full. Taksisi expressed frustration over the hotel's lack of responsibility and hopes her experience will raise awareness about safety concerns, even in countries perceived as safe.
