LOCKDOWN could very well be the word of the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021.The culture of fear that is being promoted by many elected officials has us looking like some remnant society after a cataclysmic event that wiped out life as we once knew it. Fortunately some folks are fighting back. One LA store is lashing out with public displays. More business owners are staying open and fighting the orders of maniacal officials who believe their word is law. The Supreme Court has struck down one such edict of California Governor Gavin Newsom. Yet, so-called “president elect” Biden is begging us to wear masks for his first 100 days in office. (Does he believe they will muffle our voices over his idiotic ideas?)
Has Team Trump lost its mind? Len Wood has been blasted by Ted Cruz for suggesting that Republicans stay home from Georgia’s US Senate runoff elections. If they stay home, there is essentially no battle to be had should irregularities occur. The best thing Georgia Republicans could do is turn out in such numbers that there should be no question about the results.
Campus carry will be in front of the Florida legislature in the 2021 session. John Thrasher, former legislator and President of FSU, is anti-self defense if it means firearms on campus. He claims to be a Republican. He’s a poor example of one and has been for many years.
