Wins, Losses & Election Issues

We continue seeing wins over the various government restrictions put in play as a reaction to the coronavirus. Our next win comes from Pennsylvania. Not all is well, however, as this “summer of rage” has had a different impact on the country.IN A HANDBASKET takes us to Minneapolis.

The final presidential debate is tonight and the rules change may make for a better discussion, but does the debate really matter? I’m thinking less and less so the closer it gets.

Florida Secretary of State Laurel Lee is fighting to keep Amendment 3 valid on the ballot. The amendment that would overturn our Primary Election process should be a no brainer to oppose. You’d think with the election already underway that Lee would focus on the job at hand and not jump to the wrong side of this one.

Hour 3 brings Florida Today’s Isadora Rangel to the discussion. The paper has issued endorsements and I’ve announced my votes. We’ll compare notes. The Editorial Board had a stance last week on the Isnardi plea deal that I did not think was an informed position. We’ll get Isadora’s take and see what led them to their conclusion.
