Bill’s Early Voting/Mail Ballot Experience

After work and lunch yesterday I headed to the Early Voting site in Satellite Beach. The line was out the door and down the sidewalk of the Schechter Center. The scene was repeated around Brevard and across the state. People were standing in line waiting to vote. On the one hand, it’s a good thing. On the other hand- not so much. I was not about to wait in line to cast my vote. And you don’t have to either.

Media bias is evident in many political situations around the country. And even where we try to not politically focus, those who are participating in those nonpolitical events have their own political leanings. They’re entitled to them, but we don’t want to hear them. Yet sometimes we do, like we did last night. Fox Sports announcers Joe Buck and Troy Aikman dropped the political bomb on viewers during their NFL broadcast yesterday.

The education establishment is frequently our focus and it’s IN A HANDBASKET again today. When they devalue their own product, the students have a right to expect online class refunds!

Yes, I voted my ballot yesterday and around the same time the INSIDER COLUMN detailing my votes in races we covered was published here on the web site. We’ll talk my votes and yours in our second hour today.

In other news: There is a rules change for this week’s presidential debate. There will be an off button for candidate microphones. It will be sued for initial answers and then opened up for the free flowing parts of the discussion. This could be intersecting. Airbnb vacation type rentals have a win in Florida when it comes to not being forced to collect tourism development taxes. THAT is a good thing.
