Manned Space Flight Delayed

(Cape Canaveral, FL) -- A manned space flight scheduled for the end of this month is now delayed. NASA officials said Saturday the launch has been delayed until early to mid November. A problem detected in the SpaceX Falcon 9 during an October 2nd aborted launch requires further scrutiny which is leading NASA to delay the manned flight. Once the green light is given, the NASA SpaceX Crew-1 mission will lift off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center to carry three NASA astronauts and a Japanese mission specialist to the International Space Station. 

Judge Says No More Time To Register To Vote

(Tallahassee, FL) -- A judge says there is no more time for Floridians to register to vote for this November's elections. Chief U.S. District Court Judge Mark Walker issued his ruling Friday morning. On the last day to register the official elections webpage was inoperable for a period of time due to technical glitches. Judge Walker said even though every man who has set foot on the moon did so after being launched into space from Florida, the state still can't handle an election which is "a task simpler than rocket science."

President Trump To Speak At MAGA Rally In Central Florida

(Washington, D.C.) -- President Trump is scheduled to speak at a Make America Great Again rally at the Sanford Orlando Airport in this evening. It is the President's first campaign rally appearance since he was diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 1st. Those who wish to attend the free event can register online under the events tab at DonaldJTrump-dot-Com. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis.

No Charges After Elderly Man Is Punched

(Nocatee, FL) -- No charges will be filed in an argument over a political sign that turned violent in St. Johns County. Deputies say a man believed to be in his 20s punched a 72-year-old man Saturday morning in Nocatee. The 72-year-old apparently confronted the younger man over a profane political sign, and the younger man says the punch was in self-defense. The older man tells News4Jax he never touched the younger man.

UF Rejects Mullen's Request For Full Stadium

(Jacksonville, FL) -- The Swamp will remain drained for the Gators' next football game. The University of Florida's president announced yesterday he will not lift seating restrictions at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Head coach Dan Mullen said Saturday he wanted to see a full stadium for next weekend's game against LSU, but UF will keep seating limited to 20-percent capacity. The school says it remains fully and firmly committed to following CDC guidelines.
