It was the first time I heard it from a coworker. After yesterday’s show a friend here at work walked by my office and asked how I was feeling.I was busy and, quite frankly, hadn’t thought about it.She, on the other hand, was in a bit of a funk. She said it was the first time in all of virus reaction she had felt this way.As I thought about it after our discussion I realized something. We have too much time on our hands. We like busy, and we aren’t as busy as we used to be.Some self-reflection can be good.Too much of it can put you in a spiral.
It seems we are tired of government telling us what we can and can’t do.And we’re willing to defy their orders. There is the other side of that fence and it appears during IN A HANDBASKET this morning.
Then there is how we treat each other. While there are plenty of examples of exemplary behavior, there is also the other side of that coin. What did I say early on in this mess?Adversity reveals character.
How’s distance learning going?According to some college students, it’s not.Either that or they’re looking for a handout.I don’t believe their lawsuit has much of a chance; after all, lots of folks successfully complete courses by computer.
