Merry Christmas!
Today’s column begins and ends with that thought.
It’s been an interesting year and we have had plenty to talk every morning on BML.From good to bad, political to personal we have covered the spectrum from joy to despair together.We have also tried to add an element of humor.After all, if we can’t laugh- even at ourselves- we are missing some of the joy in life.
As we take today to gather with family and friends, and as we consider the reason many of us celebrate the holiday, let’s remember to be thankful.The greatest gift of all was bestowed upon us and we are undeserving of it. May we live each day in gratitude for that and for the so many blessings in our lives.
Make this a joyous Christmas and share that good will with others.That, too, is a gift.
