Trump Wants Mar-a-Lago Listed As Primary Address

(West Palm Beach, FL) -- President Trump knows where he wants to spend his post-White House years. He filed papers over a month ago in Palm Beach County to have Mar-a-Lago declared as his primary residence. Trump tweeted that he made the decision, in part, because of how badly he's treated in his native New York. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo tweeted yesterday, 'he's all yours, Florida.'  

Central Florida Congress Members Vote On Impeachment Inquiry

(Washington, DC) -- Like most of the country, Central Florida lawmakers are split along party lines when it comes to impeaching President Trump. Congressional Republicans Bill Posey, Ross Spano, Michael Waltz and Daniel Webster voted yesterday against formalizing the impeachment inquiry. Democrats Val Demings, Stephanie Murphy and Darren Soto voted with the majority in favor. 

Condition Of Driver Hit During Plane Crash Not Clear  

(Ocala, FL) -- The condition of a driver on State Road 200 near I-75 in Ocala is not clear. His SUV was hit by a plane that crashed yesterday. Two people in the plane are dead. Investigators say the aircraft had some sort of mechanical problem before it went down, but the NTSB will determine the exact cause of the accident.

Car Crashes Through Mel's Hot Dogs

(Tampa, FL) -- A Tampa business will be open today despite damage that looks like a bomb went off. That's how one customer describes what happened yesterday at Mel's Hot Dogs on East Busch Boulevard when a car crashed through a wall. No serious injuries were reported, and owner Mel Lohn says cleanup is already underway. 

Pelican Pub Reopens After Health Scare

(St. Petersburg, FL) -- A St. Petersburg restaurant is back open after a health scare, but one woman isn't ready to move on. The Pelican Pub was closed for two days after Rachael Renn and dozens of other customers complained of getting a rash from sitting on a bench at the restaurant. The bench was removed, the place was cleaned, and specialty drinks were handed out last night to celebrate. Renn, though, tells News Channel 8 it seems like the bar is making a joke of her suffering.  

McDonald's Brings Back Retro For Happy Meal Anniversary

(Chicago, IL) -- Hello Kitty, My Little Pony and Power Rangers -- they're all coming back. At least at McDonald's. The Happy Meal turns 40 this year and to celebrate, the fast food chain is including 17 retro toys from the past four decades. Other fan favorites include the Cowboy McNugget, Grimace, Hamburglar and Furby. The Surprise Happy Meals will only be offered for four days starting November 7th.

UFO House Is On Airbnb

(Joshua Tree, CA) -- Visitors to Joshua Tree National Park can spend the night in a UFO. The Futuro House in Joshua Tree, California was built in the 1960s by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen and is shaped like a flying saucer. There are 85 Futuro Houses around the world, but the one in Joshua Tree is the only one available on Airbnb. The UFO house rents for 205-dollars a night, and owner Ronald Jackson calls it "the ultimate glamping experience."
