Three Killed In Volusia County Plane Crash

(DeLand, FL) -- Three people are dead after a plane crash in Volusia County. A twin-engine Cessna crashed yesterday afternoon in DeLand off SR 44 near South Grand Ave. There's no word on a cause. Those killed have not been identified, but deputies say there were all adults. FAA records show the plane belongs to a man in Texas. 

Five Rescued Near Sunshine Skyway Bridge

(Ruskin, FL) -- The Coast Guard is credited with helping a family during an emergency in Tampa Bay. A family of five was boating yesterday morning near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge when their boat started taking on water. Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg got their distress call and responded to the. All five on board, including two children, were rescued safely.  

Man Credited With Chasing Down Suspects

(Tampa, FL) -- A recent incident in Hillsborough County has a man questioning the intelligence of some suspects. Nick Campbell noticed four people in a rented SUV on private property this weekend and realized they were stealing items from parked cars. The suspects had to jump the fence because they didn't have the code to get the fence to open.Campbell chased after them while taking pictures he could use as evidence. One suspect was caught, and Campbell tells News Channel 8 the fact that they didn't have a good escape plan leads him to believe they weren't the smartest criminals.  

Disney Introduces Skyliner Tram Service

(Orlando, FL) -- There's a new way to get around Disney World. The Disney Skyliner tram service was unveiled yesterday to give visitors a birds-eye view of Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Disney resorts. Each of the 300 gondolas has a Disney-themed look to it, and they seat 10 people. There was positive feedback on Twitter with one user saying it would be a great way to view the nightly fireworks. 

Massachusetts Man Sentenced In 'Nude Yoga' Case

(Plaistow, NH) -- A Massachusetts man who allegedly performed nude yoga at a New Hampshire health club is pleading no-contest to an indecent-exposure charge. Officials say the plea prompted a guilty verdict last week earning 36-year-old Eric Stagno a four-month suspended jail sentence for his behavior inside Planet Fitness in July of 2018.  He was also ordered to stay away from the facility for a year and a half.  

Woman Rescues Kitten, Turns Out To Be Bobcat

(Undated) -- A Tennessee woman who rescued a kitten off the road got more than she bargained for. Jill Hicks said she spotted the small cat running across the busy road and wanted to rescue it. It turns out the creature was actually a baby bobcat. The Chattanooga woman said the cat climbed all over her and eventually nestled into her lap. It wasn't until a neighbor came over to see "Arwen" that the identity was revealed.
