Storm Didn't Deter Trump Supporters

(Orlando, FL) -- It takes more than heat, humidity and thunderstorms to scare away Trump supporters. Thousands lined up outside the Amway Center and braved the weather to attend last night's rally. Some were prepared and brought tents. The high yesterday reached 89 degrees, and a Minnesota man, who says he has been to 50 Trump rallies, tells the Orlando Sentinel it was one of the hottest he ever attended. 

Rep. Smith At Trump Protest

Orlando Democratic State Rep. Carlos Guillermo Smith said for America to win in 2020, President Trump needs to lose.He was at an anti-Trump rally last night near the Amway Center. The Win with Love rally was held at the Stonewall Bar on Church Street. Police formed a barrier between protesters and Trump supporters, but no violence was reported.

Trump Is Good Business For Vendors 

(Orlando, FL) -- President Trump is good business for vendors. People selling pro-Trump merchandise drove or flew in to Orlando for last night's rally at the Amway Center. A store owner who drove up from Fort Myers said sales are always good at Trump rallies, and a woman selling Trump hats was glad for the business. She tells Florida Today she lives in Washington, DC where no one buys her Trump stuff. 

Deputy Accused Of Fraud 

(Orlando, FL) -- An Orange County deputy finds himself on the wrong side of the law. Deputy Jackson Etienne was arrested yesterday for fraud and grand theft. Investigators say Etienne promised a friend he would buy two buses for the man's transportation company, but Etienne took almost 30-thousand dollars from the man and never delivered the buses. Etienne has been with the sheriff's office for three years, but he's now on unpaid leave.

Disney Raises Prices For Annual Passes 

(Orlando, FL) -- It's going to cost more to experience Disney magic. Walt Disney World yesterday raised the prices of annual passes between seven and 18 -percent. The platinum plus pass had the biggest jump and now costs 999 dollars, and the Silver Pass is the cheapest at 599 dollars. The price hikes come ahead of August's opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  

Former Met Lenny Dykstra Finds Teeth In Dumpster 

(Linden, NJ) -- Former New York Mets great Lenny Dykstra has his smile back. Dykstra says he went to eat at Jersey Mike's Subs in Linden last weekend and removed his 80-thousand-dollar dentures and put them in a napkin while he went to eat his sandwich. He left the restaurant and discovered them missing several hours later. When he returned they were nowhere to be found. He says he spent the next nine hours digging through a dumpster before finding his dentures. He took to Twitter to announce he found his teeth on Father's Day.

Arizona Man Accused Of Beheading Roommate's Dog 

(Buckeye, AZ) -- An Arizona man in jail for allegedly beheading his roommate's dog. The Buckeye Police Department says one woman was moving out of her shared apartment with 21-year-old Jose Vega Meza when she couldn't find her dog. Later, she confronted Meza about a small box she said he was trying to hide in the moving truck. The woman reportedly took the box and found her headless dog inside while Meza smiled back at her. He may face charges related to animal cruelty and misdemeanor assault.
