Kid Cudi just brings people together, you know?!

In celebration of the "Fire" rapper's 35th birthday on Wednesday (January 30), Kanye West and Pete Davidson put their differences aside to come together for quite the epic evening. (Fun fact: Dune actor Timothée Chalamet was also there)

Pete and Kanye's link up, came four months after Pete called Ye out for his pro-Trump Saturday Night Live rant. While the two have sense spoken on social media (Pete backed Kanye when the "I Love It" rapper called out Pete's ex Ariana Grande on Twitter), Cudi's intimate birthday celebration marked the first time the two have been spotted together since Ye's surprise SNL rant.

As previously, reported, back in October, Pete dedicated his "Weekend Update" skit to Ye, who went on an unplanned pro-Trump rant following his SNL performance the week prior. "Speaking strictly for myself, what Kanye said after we went off the air last week was one of the worst, most awkward things I’ve ever seen here, and I’ve seen Chevy Chase speak to an intern,” Pete, who previously called Chevy "a genuinely bad, racist person," said during his Weekend Update skit. He then went on to discuss Ye's new favorite accessory, his Make America Great Again hat, which Kanye claimed SNL staff bullied him for wearing on last week's show. "He wore it all week," Pete refuted. "Nobody told him not to wear it. I wish I bullied you. I wish I would have suggested that it might upset some people, like your wife [Kim Kardashian] or every black person ever."

The SNL comedian continued, "I know you’re like, ‘No, this is the real me, I’m off the meds.’ Take ’em! There’s no shame in the medicine game. I’m on ’em," Pete admitted. "If I ever got on a plane and the pilot said, ‘I just want you to know, this is the real me flying the plane,’ I’d jump out. Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jacka**." To conclude the hilarious segment, Pete threw on a red hat of his own that read "Make Kanye 2006 Again."

It seems both Pete and Ye have let bygones be bygones because the two were all smiles for Cudi's special night.

As far as why Pete was at Cudi's celebration, well he's long been a fan of Cudi and has even credited him for saving his life through his music. "I would’ve killed myself if I didn’t have Kid Cudi," the comedian said in an interview with "The Breakfast Club" back in 2016. "If you’re 25 and under, I truly believe that Kid Cudi saved your life... I truly believe if Man on the Moon didn’t come out, I wouldn’t be here."
