Suspect Wanted In Three Store Robberies  (West Melbourne, FL) -- A search is underway for a man wanted for a robbery spree in Brevard County. West Melbourne Police said yesterday a man wearing the same hooded sweatshirt can be seen in surveillance cameras at three businesses that were robbed last week. Two of the robberies took place last Thursday, four days after the first robbery at NY Pizza Spot on West New Haven Ave. The other two businesses robbed are Michelli's Pizzeria on Palm Bay Road and the Ambiance Beauty and Barber School in Melbourne on North Wickham Road.

Deputies Search For Armed Robbers  (Brevard County, FL) -- Brevard County deputies are searching for three armed men who robbed a Cocoa grocery store yesterday morning. It happened on Lake Drive north of State Road 520. The getaway car was a dark colored four-door sedan.

Twelve Cars Broken Into In Rockledge  (Rockledge, FL) -- Some Brevard County homeowners have a harsh reminder of why they need to lock their doors. Police say 12 cars in Rockledge were broken into Wednesday night around Church Street. Two other cars were stolen after thieves found a garage door opener in an unlocked car outside the garage, got into the home and found the car keys. In every incident, police say the cars were unlocked.

Man Shot After Carjacking  (Miami, FL) -- A man is hurt after grocery shopping took an unexpected turn in Miami-Dade County. As a couple was home last night unloading groceries from their pickup truck in southwest Miami-Dade, someone jumped into the truck and took off. The couple decided to follow in another car, and as they were doing so, the husband, who was driving, was shot. The car has five bullet holes, but he's in stable condition, and the truck has been recovered.

New Florida Laws Going Into Effect Tuesday  (Undated) -- Numerous new laws take effect in Florida Tuesday. One allows felons to vote once they have completed their sentences. Another requires hospitals to post prices online. The State of Florida is also increasing the minimum wage 21 cents, to make it eight-46 an hour.

Busy Travel Weekend At Florida's Busiest Airport  (Orlando, FL) -- It will be an extremely active weekend at Orlando International Airport, which is Florida's busiest. Saturday will be bad, but Sunday will be the heaviest travel day between Christmas and New Year's. More than 162-thousand people are expected to come or go at OIA.

Police: Burglars Made Themselves At Home  (Uniontown, OH) -- Two people are in an Ohio jail for breaking into a home and really making themselves comfortable. Uniontown police say Richard Nippell and Camri Cantwell were arrested on Christmas Eve after taking showers, making a pot of coffee and doing laundry in a home that didn't belong to them. The duo was caught when the woman who lived there arrived and found them inside. Burglary charges are in the works but the two are also accused of having a stash of valuables in their car.

Burger Joint Gets Robbed Twice On Christmas  (Charleston, WV) -- A West Virginia hamburger restaurant is working with police to catch a crook who robbed the place twice on Christmas Day. They're not sure if it was one person or more but a dark image of the thief was released yesterday that shows him robbing a Gonzoburger in Charleston at 4:30 in the morning and then again about 90 minutes later. Police say money was taken during one of the break-ins and electronics were taken in the other.
