Florida Woman Who Claimed to be God Robs Mail Truck, Flees on Tricycle

A Florida woman claiming to be god used a plastic gun to rob a U.S. Postal Service truck, fleeing on a tricycle, the Collier County Sheriff's Office said. 

Leida Crisostomo, 52, of Naples, was charged with felony armed robbery and aggravated assault, police said. 

Deputies say a witness told them that Chrisostomo pointed a gun at her while she was jogging, and then walked over to a U.S. Postal Service truck that was parked nearby. 

A mail carrier told police that Crisostomo pointed her gun at him, stole a package, the fled on a tricycle. When police located her, she was holding a black and silver plastic handgun. 

When police caught up to Leida Crisostomo, 52, of Naples, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, she began yelling at officers that she was God and that "voices were telling her to do things" according to the arrest report. 

Crisostomo is currently being held in the Collier County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
