(DeBary, FL) -- A teenager has serious injuries after getting hit by a car in Volusia County. It happened yesterday afternoon in DeBary after the 17-year-old girl got off the school bus. FHP says she was hit while crossing DeBary Ave and Coventry Estates Boulevard. No charges have been announced against the driver. 

Children Tell Police Swirly Was All In Fun (Leesburg, FL) -- The children of a Lake County woman appear to be backing up her story that a swirly she gave one of them was all in fun. Leesburg Police yesterday released a report of their investigation into Kaitlyn Wolf. She can be seen in a Facebook video posted last week holding her child's head in a toilet bowl while flushing the toilet, but she says the child's head was held above the water. The police report says the child in the video likes being held upside down, and no charges have been announced. 

Man Arrested For Sexual Battery Of Child (Winter Haven, FL) -- A Polk County man is facing charges and possibly deportation for sex crimes involving an eight-year-old girl. Deputies last week arrested Winter Haven 29-year-old Wilibaldo Garcia after the girl told her mother about the incident, and the mother called the sheriff's office. Garcia is an illegal immigrant from Mexico, and ICE has been contacted. 

Crane Collapses On Home (Orlando, FL) -- A family is displaced after a freak accident in Orlando. Firefighters say a crane collapsed on a home in Baldwin Park yesterday morning on Lower Park Road. The roof was damaged but no one was home at the time. There's no word on what caused the crane to tip over or how much it will cost to fix the damages. 

Man Arrested For Trying To Kill Ex-Boss (Sanford, FL) -- A Seminole County man is facing charges for his violent reaction to being fired. Sanford Police this week arrested 23-year-old Djuan Lewis for trying to kill the man who fired him. After being fired on Sunday, police say Lewis chased his ex-boss in a car down Jewett Lane and fired five shots at him. The car was hit, but no one was hurt. 

OIA Parking Fees To Go Up (Orlando, FL) -- Parking prices at OIA are about to go up. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority announced yesterday it's raising the rates at some garages. On October First, the A and B garages will go up two dollars to 19 dollars a day, and the C garage is also going up two dollars to 17 dollars a day. The economy lots will stay at 10 dollars a day, and the cell phone lot will still be free. Airport officials say the increases are needed to offset rising costs.
