Kanye West & John Legend Reunite At Chrissy's Baby Shower Post-Twitter Tiff

Despite exchanging some tough words earlier in the week on Twitter, Kanye West and John Legend know how to put their quarrels aside, particularly for special occasions.

On Friday (April 28), the industry titans appeared together on social media in celebration of Chrissy Teigen's surprise baby shower, which was hosted by none other than Kim Kardashian. “We got love. Agree to disagree,” West captioned a selfie with the singer on his Twitter feed. Elsewhere on his timeline, the rapper, who released a new politically-charged cut called "Ye' Vs. The People" with T.I. on Saturday, unveiled footage of him playing the piano in the middle of the party.

After Kanye reignited his bromance with President Donald Trump on Twitter, John was quick to respond to the rapper's endorsement without actually calling him out. Always observant of the attention that he receives, Ye' took to the platform afterward to share the private text exchange he had with the star, causing even more chaos on the Twitterverse.

"Hey it's JL. I hope you’ll reconsider aligning yourself with Trump. You're way too powerful and influential to endorse who he is and what he stands for," Legend blatantly told the rapper in the text thread, which was witness to West's 27.9 million followers. "As you know, what you say really means something to your fans. They are loyal to you and respect your opinion. So many people who love you feel so betrayed right now because they know the harm that Trump’s policies cause, especially to people of color. Don’t let this be part of your legacy. You’re the greatest artist of our generation."
