Students Rally, Speak Out
In this business you are not going to please all of the people all of the time. Iām pretty sure we donāt please all of the people any time; and Iām OK with that. Itās to be expected. But, as I was talking with my new friend George outside the studio the other day, I only know how to be me. The good, the bad, the funny or not so funny, the sarcasm and the insight that only I can provide are all me. It canāt and wonāt change and I had to explain that to a caller to my office yesterday. Weāll share it with you to begin the day.
If there is one place standards should apply and apply strictly itās a military school. A recent incident at the Air Force Academy had me wondering. The debate over illegal immigration continues, but apparently we are doing something right in Florida. Youāāā see what I mean.
Students are marching and acting out all over Florida. Brevard is no exception. But, are they getting the guidance they need?
Florida Bar President Michael Higer is with us to discuss the Constitution Revision Commission in our 8am hour. The meeting at the King Center Monday showed me that there are problems in the system. Weāll get his take and see where this all leads.
