QUESTIONS? WE HAVE PLENTY OF THEM
The aftermath of the worst school shooting in Florida history continues today and we wonāt likely venture far from it, other than with our legislative update with Representative Randy Fine in our 7am hour. Florida Todayās Bob Gabordi is with us at 8am and weāll talk the extreme swing in his week that began with love and joy and ended with that shooting tragedy.
The shooter has confessed, he gets no bond and he faces the death penalty. Is it possible the FBI missed a clue that could have stopped this event from happening? Maybe. A student in South Carolina posted an online threat that targeted several schools in Florida with another round of shooting today. When arrested, he said it was a joke.
The legislature is reacting to the South Florida shooting pretty much as we might expect. They also got slapped down in seeking to keep Visit Florida accountable as a judge refused to allow a House subpoena to stand. The Hose is supporting year round Daylight Saving Time. Randy will update us on other news form the legislature this morning.
