HEY, KIDS! LET'S SEE IF YOU CAN BE A VICTIM!
It was a good night for the Olympics fan I have become. Womenās Ice Hockey, Ski Jumping and Curlingā¦all on the same night. My TV time was set for the evening. Earlier I had seen a Korean-American sports reporter on Around the Horn correct the pronunciation of the host city while she also referenced P. F. Chang. Little did I know why. Weāll find out together this morning. The way people in our society seek to be victims is a problem. We all have this need, apparently, to belong to an oppressed group. A new kids movie is taking a hit for making victims of a certain group to which you may belong. Now, do you feel better that someone is victimizing you? And weāll answer a question from a listener who emailed me a WV cop storyā¦and itās not an easy one.
Floridaās cabinet wants to reset the restoration of felon voting rights on its own. I believe legislative action would be better and that either choice would be far better than a constitutional amendment. Former Florida Senate president Mike Haridopolos will join us in our final hour. Heās toss out a question regarding the presidentās desire to have a military parade in Washington, DC. Do you like that idea? Is it what the free would does, or does it strike images of cold war China and the USSR? Weāll talk that and the proper use of campaign funds one a campaign is overā¦
