BEATING THE NFL'S EVENT LIKE AN ENFORCER ON ICE!
I get that some of you may not be paying attention to the NFL this season and even less of us pay attention to the Pro Bowl in ANY season. Itās a horrible game. Plus, it doesnāt have the flash of playing in Hawaii since they moved it to Orlando last year. This yearās game disappointed as expected, for as long as you could tolerate it. Thankfully, the NHL, its ALL STAR weekend in Tampa, was a glaring spotlight on the winter sport. And, it was timed perfectly with the ALL STAR TOURNAMENT itself, beginning 30 minutes after the NFLās bore fest. When the weekend was over, it was jury duty time for me. Weāll talk both as we begin our day on BML.
Commissioner Jim Barfield has paid a fine after the Ethics Commission ruled against him on a complaint filed for political purposes. Barfield was wrong and paid his penalty. Curt Smith faces a similar complaint, also filed for political reasons. State Representative Randy Fine attempted to get me to address this before the news was out, making more of the complaints then there is. I refuse to be the political tool of a county commissioner and his lackeys who began attacking other commissioners before he took his first act in office. Then, we have Randy Fine coming down right and wrong on corruption in Brevard. Heās letting personalities and other peopleās politics play in his commentary. Heās right on the issue, wrong on the delivery.
In hour 3 Mike Haridopolos is scheduled by phone as another session week is under way in Tallahassee.
