We all remember Barney, that big purple and green dinosaur who kept our kids glued to the television in their post-toddler years. His theme song began, “I love you, you love me”…and it just may be changing to “I Iove you long time.” What Barney’s doing now is a bit of a shock.
We have to be diligent consumers of the news. A recent story gives me a “see, I told you so” moment. Another story here in Brevard scares me just a bit. I do not like second guessing our men and women in law enforcement in their actions on the street, but when they report something dangerous to them, I have to wonder.
Does the FBI have a secret society that was working against the newly elected president of the United States? It’s looking that way and if it’s true we have way too many politics in the top of our government agencies.
Former Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos joins us in our third hour to discuss the explosive start to the legislative session, the lack of leadership in the Senate in the wake of that scandal and the session in general.
